Returns & Exchange Policy

We take pride in curating and delivering high-quality Indian ethnic wear with care and attention to

detail. Every item is thoroughly inspected before dispatch. If for any reason you are not satisfied,

please refer to the return and exchange conditions below.

Return Authorisation Required

All returns must be pre-authorised.

To request a return, you must email returns@myfairlady.co.uk within 14 calendar days of receiving

your order with the following:

- Your order number

- A brief reason for return

- Clear photographs of the item in its received condition

Unauthorised returns will not be accepted. Items sent back without prior approval may be refused or

returned to sender.

Return Conditions

To qualify for a refund or exchange:

- The item must be unused, untried, unfolded (for sarees and veshtis), and in original condition

- It must be neatly packed as received, with factory folds or original packaging intact

- All original tags, blouse pieces, accessories, and packaging must be included and undisturbed

Returns that arrive:

- Crushed, unfolded, or repacked carelessly

- Soiled, scented, or showing signs of wear or mishandling

...may be refused or incur a restocking fee (up to 30%)

Apparel Sizing

We strongly encourage customers to refer to our size guides before placing an order. If you are

unsure, please reach out to us for assistance.

We do accept size-related returns only if:

- The item is unused, unwashed, and in original condition

- All tags and packaging are intact

Repeated size-related returns may result in restrictions on future purchases.

Natural Weaving Characteristics

Many of our products-especially sarees and veshtis produced on handloom or power loom-may

display:

- Pulled threads

- Minor weave inconsistencies

- Subtle texture shifts

These are not defects, but authentic characteristics of traditional weaving methods. Returns based

on these will not be accepted.

Exchanges

- Exchange requests must be made within 7 calendar days of receiving your order

- Exchanges are allowed only once per order, for another size, colour, or item of equal or higher

value

- Returned items must meet all original return conditions

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns or exchanges on:

- Sarees, veshtis, or garments that have been stitched, altered, or customised

- Innerwear, shapewear, petticoats, or accessories (due to hygiene)

- Items clearly marked as Final Sale

Refunds & Return Shipping

- Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned item

- Return shipping is the customer's responsibility

- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
